Offering the following therapeutic bodywork techniques:

Reflexology is a science and therapeutic art utilizing specialized techniques to apply pressure to reflex points on the feet, hands and/or ears that correspond to the glands, organs and tissue systems of the body. Reflexology encourages relaxation and stress reduction, improves circulation, and provides the opportunity for physiological changes to occur in the body which help to restore balance.

Swedish Relaxation Massage is perfect for those who enjoy pure relaxation! This massage utilizes gliding strokes, kneading and friction. The pressure used is based on your comfort level.

Deep Tissue Massage is designed for those who enjoy firm pressure while melting into the table!

Aromatherapy Lymphatic Massage is a luxurious, rhythmic full body massage that combines soothing gentle strokes with the healing aromas of therapeutic grade essential oils. This massage specifically stimulates the lymphatic system, cleanses the skin, and promotes increased circulation, detoxification, and relaxation. Aromatherapy Lymphatic is perfect for boosting the immune system during cold and flu season, and is a wonderful compliment to a detox, weight loss and/or exercise regimen. The best effects are noted when completed once per week in a series of at least 3 sessions. This modality is recommended for healthy adults only. (60 and 90 minute sessions only)

Neuromuscular Rehabilitation is a form of deep tissue work utilized to release adhesions, re-educate resting muscle length and realign muscle fibers. Among many other benefits, this technique helps to reduce muscle tension and chronic pain, speeds healing after injury or surgery, increases postural efficiency and enhances athletic performance. This type of bodywork is individualized to your needs and may include Neuromuscular Therapy, Muscle Stripping, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Friction and/or Therapist Assisted Stretching and Strengthening. This method is very effective in facilitating change with chronic pain patterns that may be associated with the following: injuries and/or surgeries and their resulting compensation patterns, migraines and headaches, Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJD), whiplash injuries, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS), Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS), Sciatica, Piriformis Syndrome, shin splints, Plantar Fasciitis, and scoliosis along with other spinal curvatures and rotations that are “idiopathic” (unknown origins) or “mobile” (resulting from muscle imbalance).

Myofascial Release (MFR) is a technique used to evaluate and treat restrictions and adhesions in connective tissues by application of gentle traction, pressures and positioning. It coaxes muscles in spasm to relax, breaks up adhesions, releases stored tension and allows more flexibility and mobility of the muscles, fascia and associated structures.

NEW: Myofascial Massage Cupping Therapy provides the same benefit as MFR, however, Massage Cups or Vacuum Machine Cups are applied to create the gentle traction of the fascia. Myofascial cupping is a very effective and painless way to release scar tissue and fascial adhesions, also allowing for reduction in the appearance of surface scars and cellulite.

Trigger Point Therapy is a very detailed form of deep massage that utilizes the application of concentrated finger pressure to individual trigger points. These are highly sensitive spots within the muscle tissue that often refer sensations to other areas of the body. It’s used to increase blood flow, release trigger points, and break the cycle of spasm and pain, and is often followed by Therapist Assisted Stretching.

Reiki means "universal life energy". It is the Japanese technique of energy healing that works with the energetic body (the aura, chakras, energy meridians, etc.) to promote mental, emotional and physical balance through stress reduction and relaxation. On it's own, Reiki is amazing, though I really enjoy integrating Reiki into therapeutic bodywork sessions.

Prenatal Massage enhances calm and relaxation, decreases muscle tension and pain, and increases the feeling of over-all wellbeing during pregnancy. Happy Mommy = Happy Baby!

Allowing the expectant mother comfort while lying face down, and providing ample space for enlarged breasts and bellies, pregnancy pillows help to create an incredibly relaxing massage experience! These cushions are covered in sheets and additional pillows can be added to support your individual shape.

Hot Stone Therapy is a very detoxifying and relaxing treatment that utilizes heated, oiled stones to massage away stress. Without much pressure, the heat penetrates deeply into tight muscles, melting away stiffness and adhesions in the tissues. This modality is recommended for healthy adults only and is not used in cases where extensive inflammation is present. (90 minute session only)
